Terms

These terms cover buying and using Grandsay, a product by Interskill ("we"). By placing an order you agree to them. Questions: hello@grandsay.com.

What you're buying

The Grandsay gift costs $129 USD, paid once. It includes:

• Weekly interview phone calls with your parent for up to 6 months.
• Every chapter online for the family members you invite.
• One hardcover book with QR codes that play the recordings, shipped free.
• Downloads of all recordings.

Extra copies of the book cost $59 USD each.

This is a pre-order

Interviews begin in January 2027. Orders for this Christmas are accepted until December 24, 2026. When you order, you get a confirmation email and a printable gift card right away. If we can't begin calls in January 2027, we'll tell you, and you can choose a full refund.

Refunds

You can get a full refund any time before the first call. Reply to your confirmation email or write to hello@grandsay.com. Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank may take a few days to show it.

If your parent declines to be recorded on the first call, we stop and you get a full refund. After the first recorded call, write to us and we'll look at each case fairly.

The interviewer is an AI

The interviewer is an AI, not a person. It says so at the start of every call. The words in the book are your parent's own, organized and lightly edited into chapters.

Recording and consent

• On the first call, the interviewer explains that calls are recorded for the family book and asks your parent for permission. Nothing is recorded without it.
• Your parent can skip a week, pause, stop, or ask for a different question at any time.
• Please tell your parent about the gift before the first call. Don't order Grandsay for anyone who hasn't agreed, or can't agree, to talk with us.

Who can order

You must be 18 or older to buy Grandsay. We can call phone numbers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Spain.

Your stories

The stories, recordings and chapters belong to your family. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide Grandsay: to make the calls, write the chapters, host the recordings behind the QR codes, and print the book. We never use recordings to train AI. See our privacy policy.

The book

You decide when the book is ready. It's printed and shipped about two weeks after you press "print." If a book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, write to us and we'll replace it.

Fair use

Please don't use Grandsay to record anyone without their permission or for anything unlawful. We may stop calls if someone asks us to, or if a call is abusive, and we'll refund any part of the service not delivered.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email customers before it takes effect.
